Each ingredient is a gold mine filled with essential vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. Parsley is a nutrient powerhouse and is one of the best anti-cancer fighting plants out there!

Celery juice has been trending for a while because of its many health benefits: anti-cancer, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. Personally, I hate celery (lol) but I man up and drink it anyway. When I make this juice, I only use 3 stalks, but if you like celery (yay for you) then definitely use more!

Cucumbers are 95% water, so cucumber juice is perfect for hydration. They are packed with vitamins and minerals like: K1, potassium, calcium, magnesium and antioxidants to reduce inflammation and support overall health.

Juice the whole lemon? YUP! Just throw it right into the juicer. The rind of the lemon actually has 5 to 10x more nutrients than the juice…pretty awesome, right? Lemon is a great detoxifier and helps de-bloat, prevents breast, skin and colon cancers, improves bone health, lowers bad cholesterol and has a zillion vitamins.

The apple is not only super nutrient dense but also adds the perfect sweetness to combat the bitter and grassy taste of the celery and parsley.

Juicing Essentials:

I’ve had this Breville Cold Juicer for 5 years now and love it! The main selling point for me was that it uses cold extraction technology, so it retains more of the vitamins, enzymes, minerals, and antioxidants than traditional juicers.

You will also need an air tight container to protect the juice from oxidizing and retains all the nutrients for longer. I use mason jars, which are serious multi-taskers and perfect to keep my juice fresh. The rule of thumb is juice can be stored in air tight containers in the fridge for up to 72hrs for maximum retention of nutrients.

Ingredients

3 to 6 Stalks Celery

1 Cucumber

1 Bunch of Parsley (about 1 cup)

1 to 2 Green Apples

1 Whole Lemon (remove peel if not organic)

Instructions

Thoroughly wash all ingredients
Don’t forget to remove any stickers on the apples and lemon
Remove apple cores
Drop them through the juicer
Serve immediately
