Brie Grilled Cheese with Blackberry Jam

The perfect blend of creamy, buttery brie and sweet, tangy blackberry jam. Nestled between slices of golden, crispy bread, this gourmet twist on a classic is rich, flavorful, and irresistibly melty.

Ingredients

  • 2 slices of sourdough or French bread
  • 3 –4 oz brie cheese sliced (rind optional)
  • 2 tbsp blueberry jam store-bought or homemade
  • 1 –2 tbsp butter softened

Instructions

  • Prep Your Bread: Spread a thin layer of butter on one side of each bread slice.
  • Assemble the Sandwich: On the unbuttered side of one slice, layer brie slices and spread the blueberry jam on top. Close the sandwich with the other bread slice, buttered side facing out.
  • Cook: Heat a skillet over medium heat. Place the sandwich in the pan and cook for 2–3 minutes on each side, until the bread is golden brown and the brie is melted.
  • Serve: Slice in half and enjoy warm. Perfect with a side of mixed greens
