Green Apple Gatorade

This Homemade Green Apple Nature's Gatorade tastes like the classic version but it’s made with real green apples, fresh lime, spirulina, and naturally hydrating coconut water.

Ingredients

  • 3 large green apples Granny Smith
  • 2 cups coconut water
  • 2 tbsp fresh lime juice
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup adjust to taste
  • ½ - 1 tsp sea salt adjust to taste
  • ½ - 1 tsp spirulina powder start with ½ tsp and add to taste

Instructions

  • Core and chop your green apples.
  • Add apples, coconut water, lime juice, maple syrup, salt, and spirulina to a high-speed blender.
  • Strain through a fine mesh strainer.
  • Add more sweetener or lime to get your perfect balance of tart + sweet.
  • Pour over ice or refrigerate for at least 1 hour for the best flavor.
