These Frozen Immunity Cubes blend coconut milk, ginger, turmeric, citrus, honey, and warm spices into a nourishing concentrate you can freeze and melt into hot water anytime you need an immunity boost. Cozy, soothing, and incredibly easy to make.
In a blender, add the coconut milk, coconut water, ginger, turmeric, orange, lemon, honey, cinnamon, and black pepper and blend until completely smooth.
To remove fibers, strain through a fine mesh sieve into a bowl or large liquid measuring cup with spout.
Taste and adjust. Add more citrus for brightness, more honey for sweetness, or more ginger for heat.
Pour into silicone ice cube trays with lids. (If not using lids then transfer cubes to a freezer-safe bag once they are frozen or container to prevent freezer burn).
Freeze 12 to 24 hours or until solid.
To use, place 2-4 cubes in a mug and pour boiling hot water over them. Stir until melted and sip slowly.
As an immunity shot: Let 1-2 ice cubes melt in a glass overnight in the fridge. Stir to incorporate ingredients, then take as a shot.
As an iced drink: Place 2-3 ice cubes in a glass and pour water or coconut water over. Let the ice cubes melt a bit to incorporate, then enjoy.
