Southern Deviled Crab Dip

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Red Crab Claws or Jumbo Lump Crab Meat
  • 1 1/2 lbs Cream Cheese
  • 16 grams Chopped Tarragon
  • 30 grams Chopped Parsley
  • 90 grams Meyer Lemon Juice
  • 4 grams Smoked Paprika
  • 13 grams Salt
  • 8 grams Black Pepper
  • 120 grams Crème Fraîche
  • 230 grams Shredded Cheddar Cheese If you live in Charlotte, they recommend Ashe County Cheddar Cheese
  • 675 grams Roasted Red Peppers
  • 30 grams Texas Pete Hot Sauce
  • 10 grams Worcestershire Sauce
  • 4 grams Fish Sauce
  • 10 grams Soy Sauce preferably Non-GMO like this one

Toppings

  • Crumbled Buttery Crackers
  • Furikake

Instructions

  • Mix all the ingredients together except the crab meat
  • Once everything is combined, gently mix in the crab
  • Transfer to a baking dish
  • Sprinkle with crushed buttery crackers and sprinkle of furikake (optional but recommended)
  • Bake at 350 degrees for about 15-20 minutes until brown and bubbly
  • Serve with crackers or crusty bread
