Strawberry Matcha Latte
A refreshing blend of sweet strawberry purée, creamy milk, and earthy matcha layered into a gorgeous iced latte. Naturally sweetened, energizing, and perfect for spring sipping.

Ingredients

Fresh Strawberries or frozen and thawed

cup
Granulated Cane Sugar
1
cup
+ 1/4 cup Water divided
1

Matcha
1/2
cup
Whole milk
or milk of choice
Instructions
Strawberry Syrup
Wash and trim the stems off the strawberries and slice in half, then add to a large saucepan.
Add the 1 cup water and sugar. Stir to combine before placing over medium high heat.
Bring the water to a boil, then simmer for 8-10 minutes.
Blending until smooth.
Place in a glass container to store in the fridge up to 2 weeks.
Matcha Latte
Add 1/4 cup of the strawberry syrup to the bottom of a large glass.
Fill the glass with ice then pour the milk on top.
Pour in 1/4 cup hot water and use a matcha whisk to whisk briskly to mix or use a milk frother.
Pour the matcha on top and revel in the beautiful layers.
Stir together until everything is mixed well.

Notes
For a shortcut take about four strawberries and sprinkle some cane sugar or a squeeze of honey and muddle them together at the bottom of the glass.
