Tiramisu Rice Krispy Treats

Total Time:15 minutes
Servings: 16 treats

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup Mascarpone
  • 4 Tbsp Unsalted butter
  • 1 Tbsp Instant Espresso powder
  • 1 Tbsp cocoa powder + more for garnish
  • 20 oz Mini Marshmallows
  • 3 Tbsp Marsala wine *Substitute coffee liquor, Rum, Amaretto or Vanilla extract for no alcohol
  • 13 1/2 cups Rice cereal

Instructions

  • Line a 9 x 13 baking dish with parchment paper or coat with butter
  • In a large Dutch oven, melt the mascarpone, butter, espresso powder, and cocoa over medium heat.
  • Stirring constantly until everything is melted together.
  • Add the marshmallows and Marsala wine until everything is melted and evenly incorporated.
  • Remove from heat and add the rice cereal.
  • Quickly transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish and press down into an even layer. *Butter your hands or use the butter wrapper
  • Let sit at room temperature for 30 minutes to an hour.
  • Sprinkle some cocoa powder into a fine mesh sieve and tap over the treats for the signature Tiramisu look.
  • Cut into 16 bars and enjoy!

Notes

Store in an airtight container and can be kept in the fridge for up to 3 days.
